Welcome to our little Canada in the Alps, Grand-Massif and Giffre Valley
Canada in the Alps
The Canada of the Giffre Valley. Welcome to our little Canada with immense forests of fir trees, a magnificent lake, a wild river with the end of the world. Here nature is immense, authentic with a wild flavour.
Six Fer à Cheval
The Fer à Cheval cirque, emblem of the valley, is dominated by Mont Bluet, "the Ladies' Mont Blanc", the first high mountain climb in the Alps in 1770. Here you can take a breath of fresh air, moving from one refuge to another, and admire one of the most beautiful sunsets over Mont Blanc from the Grenairon refuge. The landscapes are breathtaking, magnetic, vibratory.
Les Gorges de Tines
And then there is the water: the impressive Tines gorges and nearly fifty waterfalls that descend from the mountain. The Rouget waterfall, more than 80 metres high, classified as a natural heritage site and called "The Queen of the Alps". Finally, the Giffre river, which winds through the valley and whose white waters delight adventurers of all kinds.
